The Neighborhood Watch Program

For Life Threatening Emergency call 911
For NON-Life-Threatening Emergency call 862-8600
If you hear about a crime in our neighborhood post it on the FORUM of this website. That will get the word out quickly to the rest of the neighborhood.
A good home alarm system can be an important deterrent to crime in your home. Being part of a Watch Group is another. If you are not part of a Watch Group consider joining one or starting one. A Watch Group is simply a group of neighbors who have all agreed to look out for one another and have exchanged contact information( phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses).
That way if a crime, safety or security issue or if an important event has occured everyone in the group can be alerted in a short time.
Steps to establish a Watch Group
1. Talk to your neighbors about forming a group. It may be as small as 3 homes or as big as you like.
2. Exchange phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Agree to keep the information confidential.
3. Call or e-mail information to your neighbors about safety and security issues. Learn how to get the information out quickly if necessary.
4. Optional. Designate one person in the group to be the Contact Person who would also communicate with the Crieve Hall Neighborhood Association and represent your group..
